Replaced the ignition starter switch on the city beater 'cause summer finally arrived now the battery
couldn't cough up the right amount of energy to bring the starter to rotate when the engine is hawt.

Solved the problem.

Catch:
Paid €37 at the dealership, although I passed several CarPartsStores on my way down there
that sell these for less then half, €14,70…
Couldn't be bothered

Regards, Harm.

I haven't done anything stupid with my car yet, but I was planning out a rolling CD rack that would stretch the length of the trunk...

Then I realized that if the rack rolled, the CD cases would fall out...

I was thinking... how would a 959 lower front with 959 rear wing and lower valence look?

I installed a cassette player in mine too (see project log thread). At least I'm going to try to integrate an MP3 player hookup to the CD changer inputs though.

I'm about to install a brand new starter because I burn the hell out of my other brand new one. That's pretty stupid.

I got my firing order all screwed up and set the car on fire. The new starter works great though! LOL

D'OH, check your injectors for leaks. They don't like explosions.

Tried slightly tinting my GTS headlight covers with an aerosol spray which is meant to do just that to cover some very fine scratches and look hotter, but instead I burnt the perspex and i have a 1" diameter burnt circle in the middle of the perspex now. (Held can too close DoH) FmL. Stoooopid.

I set a Fiat manual, which I had checked out of the library, on fire when a backfire caused flames to come back up through the intake.
Luckily the library didn't notice the burnt pages when I returned it.
