What would cause this? have stripped most things down this last weekend, but when removing the plugs, they are dripping with fuel, literally.

Any ideas?

Rich, i think i will be drawing on your expertise very shortly

Frigged: fuel mix, Warm Up Reg, Cold Start Valve, or a stuck injector - off the top of my head.

Saw one car in the midlands that had a cold start problem that a previous owner 'fixed' by turning up the fuel until it started... flooded very quickly every time.

Also seen various attempts to fix cold and hot starts that involve frigging the cold start valve electrics. Check for any odd looking wiring aroud the CSV.

Put a jumper across the fuel pump relay socket so it runs then pull out each injector in turn (Claw hammer is best - honest!) see if they are leaking, also remove the csv see if that's stuck open.

first guess: pull the plug off the cold start injector and try again (After clearing the flood with plugs out cranking)

Chances are that the oil is full of petrol now too though.
Let me know if you need a hand

Noooo! Not on a 931! The 931 injectors screw into the insert, unlike the NA version which are an interference fit with O-ring.

I did the opposite - spotted the Lodgesport but not the section...

Unless the motor has changed from the old pics it's an N/A - claw hammer it is

If it's a turbo - as Ideola says - you need a spanner

Why we are in the 931 section I don't know...
