Stays on, even when control is set to off?

Speeds up and slows down, but doesnt stop - you guys have any ideas?

The fan is always on on low speed, at least on my cars it is.

You probably have a short on the contact plate for the heater control unit. You need to remove it and clean it up. I've found that alcohol wipes such as those used in medical facilities work quite well for this application.

Sorted, for some reason the wiring was drawing a constant live, now working fine
