I am terrible with computors. Would someome give me instructions so I can understand them. Or better yet I will call you at home and you can walk me through it. I want to convert a PM t a post.
Joe agreed to settle up and I said send the money to Paula 9XXXgirl and I will followup with payment to her charity. Now he claims did not agree to sending the $50. I have the PMs stating he would pay up.
Thank you for your help all.

Lol, I'm a luddite with computers but I know how to copy'n'paste.

Just push the right hand button till it makes what you want to copy turn blue. Hit the copy button. When you wanna add it to a post hit the right button and hit paste...

Read Vince. Im telling you." I want you to stop harrassing me
on the internet."

Messages posted to any open venue, such as a newsgroup, a web-based board, an AOL discussion forum or a chat room, are seldom truly harassing, unless they are forged to appear to come from you or contain direct threats or libelous statements. The same goes for things said on someone else’s website.
Harassment usually involves repeated communications via e-mail or some sort of instant messaging program after the harasser has clearly been told to go away.
Harassment consists of the intentional crossing of your emotional or physical safety boundaries. You must have boundaries set in place clearly in order for that to apply.
The legal definition of harassment, according to Black’s Law Dictionary is:
“A course of conduct directed at a specific person that causes substantial emotional distress in such person and serves no legitimate purpose; or words, gestures, and actions which tend to alarm and abuse (verbally) another person.”
It can be further qualified as “any actions that meet the qualifications of the above definition after the harasser has been told to cease.”
Cyber-stalking is a specific kind of harassment. The Department of Justice defines Cyber-stalking as “the use of the Internet, e-mail, or other electronic communications devices to stalk another person. Stalking generally involves harassing or threatening behavior that an individual engages in repeatedly, such as following a person, appearing at a person’s home or place of business, making harassing phone calls, leaving written messages or objects, or vandalizing a person’s property.”
Cyber-stalkers frequently follow their targets around the net, frequenting chat rooms, message boards, newsgroups or mailing lists in which the target participates. At times they will also attempt to form relationships with those who are friendly with the target in order to get more information about the target

What To Do If You Need Help!

First, you must clearly tell the harasser to stop. Generally speaking, it is unwise to communicate with the harasser. However, as soon as you determine that you are truly being harassed by someone, you must very clearly tell that person to stop. You do not need to explain why, just state that you do not want the person to contact you in any way in the future.

Do Not respond to any further messages of any sort from the harasser. Do Not have anyone else contact the harasser on your behalf. It is common practice for the harasser to claim that you are harassing him/her, but if you aren’t contacting the person, then it is clear that you aren’t the harasser.

Call ISU Public Safety and ask to speak to a Public Safety officer regarding any on-line incidents.

If you are being physically threatened, you must involve law enforcement. Contact your local police department and Public Safety.

If you believe yourself and/or your children to be in immediate danger, please dial 911.

Complain to the appropriate parties. If you are harassed in a chat room, contact whoever runs the server you were using. If you are harassed on any kind of instant messaging service, read the terms of service and harassment policies they provide and use any contact address given there. If someone has created a website to harass you, complain to the server where the site is hosted.

If you are being harassed via e-mail, complain to the sender’s ISP and any e-mail service (Hotmail) used to send the messages.

Save EVERYTHING! Do not delete messages, chat logs, websites, etc. Place them in a separate folder on your hard drive or onto a floppy disk/zip disk or CD-ROM, and print out a hard copy. If you receive any phone calls from the harasser, have them traced immediately (your local phone company can tell you how to do that). If you receive any kind of postal mail or other off-line communications, save them and any envelopes, boxes, etc. they came in.

Do not destroy any evidence, and do not handle it more than absolutely necessary, and do not permit anyone else to do so. Immediately turn the evidence over to Public Safety or the local police. Place envelopes, letters, etc. in plastic bags to protect any possible fingerprints.

definition above is not applicable, as there is a legitimate purpose for the contact, which is to collect a debt.

Joe, do you really want to be thought of the way some of the former board members are who were known for taking advantage of others here? It may have been an honest mistake, but its not going to go away unless you take the opportunity to make it right. And posting up of parts your going to buy , as you have recently for your new 931 project, only rubs salt in the wound.

do the right thing... If you dont, your no better than "those who may not be named." I thought you were better than that...

Well, I know I've certainly learned alot. At this point it would appear to me that joe is not to be trusted, even if he eventually pays Vince.

Vince: best way to post your private messages would be to take a screenshot. If you hit 'print screen' you can paste the screenshot into a image editing piece of software. And then post the images. Copy/paste of the text can be edited pretty easily, a screenshot would hold more value.

A screen shot is best as its difficult to fake. Although to simply "copy" the PM and "paste" on a post & submit is easier to do so we can have a read. If Joe denies or disputes what was written then a screen shot would be sufficient verification.

Joe loks lice he is prity goode at copien and pastin. Its esy two tel coz da spelin is cerrekt!

Judging by Joe's reaction to the PM's being posted.......they must be very damaging.

I would think a "copy " and " paste" or a "prtscn" would be alot easier then fixing a 924 ??

I reserve any judgement untill i see the proof.

Joes spelling is bad.....his sentences make no sense half the time....but why has everybody jumped on him before any pm's etc have been posted ??

If hes dishonest then it will all come out in the wash, but if hes honest and made a bad mistake then ide like to think that he will rectify it with Vince......

Ordering him to do it right now and making someone who has posted 6000+ usefull, positive and helpful posts seems forceful. It may just be coincidence that hes having a really hard time at this minute....be a shame to lose another great member to a $50 witch hunt

And this is coming from someone who had $180 pistons never sent to him by a "respected" board member who just so happened to dissapear off the board when confronted....Joe is still here fighting his way through.....

If The PMs are posted to proove "the original" misdealing then stuff it ill help Joe out and go half with him on your $50 and hope he learns from it! Joes givenme more than $25 worth of help and encouragement on my 924 journey!

Im not goin no where & definately not havin a bad time at all.

You think my reaction is damage reaction based .. screw that. For
all i care you can go ahead & change the name of this board & name it after me. I shouldnt say that either cause it might just happen.

Its funny you guys post your ops & it sounds like I committed the crime of the century.... All I did was forget to pay some jerk for a TB.

Now this sweaty silver knighted person thinks ited be great to donate
to charity .. makes me laugh till he harrasses me again.

Porschev why does your car sit so high.. off the ground. ??
