Am wondering if any Buddy has a pic. of a 951 with the
badge panel removed ?
I am installing a 951 intercooler in a 924 and have cut
some pieces out . I see that
some of the cooling fins are blocked buy the cross member!
I am considering moving the
rad back, or modding the cross member but thought before I
start cutting maybe seeing how the factory did it might

My old LR Stage 2 IC (same core size as OEM, just modded end tanks)
I don't have that IC anymore as I'm replacing it with an FMIC, but can take any pics you might need of the 951 setup.

Thank you . It looks like there is more room between the cross member
and the rad but not much could you post a pic. from lower focused on the frount of the Intercooler and crossmember.
Thank you again. _________________ 77.5 project car have never driven. burgundy

Will try and do that this weekend.
The radiator gets all of it's flow from beneath the IC and crossmember. There is ducting that directs airflow under and then up through the whole radiator. The IC then has seperate ducting that flows over the top of the crossmember and radiator. _________________ --Alex--

Here is an 87 N/A with the proper turbo style front clip. I believe all 944 models from 87 and on had this clip. Your best bet is to find a junked 944 cut out the needed clip and get it welded in place on the 924.
