WTF! it has been over 2 weeks and no hood scoop! i made sure that my address change was reflected in paypal (after my screw up when buying from ideola) i have sent an e-mail and a message to the seller on ebay both with no reply. how long is too long to wait before i get paypal involved to get my money back? i dont want to lose a GT hoodscoop for $69, but i mean c'mon! really! _________________ "Kraut cars, they know how to build 'em".

... after seeing the rastas(big guy) reply and my buddys imafordguys.
I was thinking that(check this out) He would get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing he gave it to a good home.
Though since you have not recieved it yet I think hes realized his mistake and cant believe it happend and hes not gonna give up the part. What do ya think of that. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

| Hey Zociac, I think it is 9 days and you can file a claim on ebay. I have had to do it a couple times and paypal will just take the money from the guy if he doesn't send the item. Then they will deposit it into your paypal account. Good luck |

I think you are most probably right, however he is legally bound to sell. He should have fixed a reserve price.
This guy/girl is no novice though. 250 feedback at 100%.
ZODIAC, Email them saying that they need to make immediate contact through ebay message service to prevent you from starting a dispute and leaving neg feedback. Send the same message through ebay message service as well.
give them another week then give them a negative tag such as "BEWARE Conman, takes money and does not deliver"
brupska is correct. paypal will just take the money from the guy if he doesn't send the item. Then they will deposit it into your paypal account, but you have to prove you have tried to resolve this yourself first so they will look at your messages, plus i think it is 21 days not 9. (ebay will tell you if you hit the help button)
hit him from both sides, PM so ebay are aware, email so he is aware you have his contact details.
you haven't lost your money, its just a case of whether matey wants to go back on his word and screw up his ebay account for further sales, or take a loss on your "scooup" and just put it down to experience.
But i have been through this, you do get it now and again. (not often thankfully but it does happen) _________________ 924 (84) N/A 2 ltr - 5 Speed - BLACK - Project (looking for 200BHP, any ideas!)

Yeah, have been rather lucky with getting back money from paypal.
As said above, it is actually a legally binding contract. Definitely not worth it for a scoop but recall a televised court case where the purchaser successfully sued a reneging seller for the goods. Was a aircraft for around 600K though. Probably worth paying lawyers for that.
Good luck with getting your scoop. |

that monster was not installed by me in my defense! well, the weather has turned cold here and i just got home after a 3 day stay in the hospital. so i wont be installing anytime soon . apparently i spent the only 3 good days laid up because of ulcers.
but spring is on its way! so it's going to happen soon. _________________ "Kraut cars, they know how to build 'em".
