I just bought 2, TDO5 Turbos.
It should be a good size Turbo for the 2L, about the same as a gt28rs.

Can the injection be modified, eg. Can a rising rate fuel pressure regulator be put on return line from fuel distributer, to increase the fuel pressure under boost on these systems?

I will be buying an air fuel ratio meter, and most likely trying it this way anyway. Most likely with a 2:1 Malpassi regulator.
(so at 10psi the fuel pressure will be incresed by 20psi)

I would probably swap the spare one for good syncros and dog gears for 1st and 2nd for my snailshell.

the fuel dissy uses shims to increase system pressure. injectors can leak during cold start due to the differential between system and cold start pressures of the WUR. This is apparently around 80/85 psi
you might also need to look at stopping the injectors from popping out of the head or leaking air at high boost pressures.

Hi,
Yes that sounds high,
but most turbo cars are running similar pressures, in the end.

For example a Skyline running 20psi boost would have to increase its fuel pressure by at least the boost pressure, (if not double that or more, with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator) meaning 20psi- 40psi+ + the approximately 45psi base pressure, giving 65-85psi total.

Still I will keep an eye out for leaks. Cheers.

I have a Bosch 044 that I will Probably run in line with the other pumps to aid flow. If Not I will use the stock pumps to feed a surge tank and run the 044 off that.

I would have been more worried about intake manifold,
intercooler and turbo pipes leaking.

I also have a set of injectors that are good for around 265hp @ 40 psi,So if I need more fuel I will run programmable injection. I will also run an Air Fuel ratio meter, as I reckon its running way too rich at the moment and I never keep flooring a car thats running lean.

Still 85psi is a fair bit, but at least my boost pressure will never be anywhere near that so at least the fuel will be heading in the right direction.
