I have now been the proud owner of my 924S for 2 years now. I absolutely love the car.
With that said, I have been going through water intrusion problems. I sealed the battery tray, I put a new seal on the rear hatch, and a new sunroof seal.
After all that things seemed to stay dry, then I started getting a puddle under the drivers seat. I pulled the back end of the car apart, I ran trimmer string down the sunroof drains to no avail. Well then I looked at the sunroof and how it sat in the car. It seems that between the new gears I put in the sunroof mechanism, and the new seal, the sunroof was in to tight and the new seal was sealing off the drains. I opened the sunroof about 2mm and no more water under my front seat.
We had a very hard rain to test it last night. _________________ 67 Mercury Cougar XR7 under Restoration
