Getting little end bushes shouldnt be a problem, most machine shops have the stuff by the length and as someone said you have to machine out the ID after installation.

I am keen on a group buy for those rods!

Sorry to do this guys but I am going to have to back out on the rod bolts. I thought I could fit them into the budget but it would probably be a bad idea. I will just re-use my old ones and pray they dont fail, at least it will be a rush everytime I drive my car kind of like gambling, lol.

Sorry again, hate to do this to everyone

Can we get a group buy going for them next?

Which, little end bushes or crower rods?

I know the former appear to be NLA, haven't even started looking for a source. As for the rods themselves, I don't know that we'd have enough demand for a group buy, but I can look into pricing.

The rods Dan.

Cheers,

@Brock
No worries...as I said, I'll pick up the slack up to two sets if necessary, and they'll go on my shelf until someone needs to buy them.

@pocketscience
I reached out to Crower, but my contact is traveling to some show this weekend, and won't be available until Monday. I'll connect with you and Daniel both regarding the rods once I've been able to speak with him regarding any volume discount they may be able to offer.

Added the group buy to the ARP page on my website... (you may need to hit refresh to get the new page to load...depends on your browser settings...)

...would be nice to get two more participants...

I've sent the invoices out to everyone. If we don't have two more participants by Monday, I'll make up the extra sets. I would like to place the order as early as possible next week since there is an 8 week lead time, and these will be holding up shipment on several other orders for bearings and stuff. Your prompt attention will be appreciated by all

Whoa whoa whoa excuse my dumbassery but I thought these were $26.xx for the set, not each ($206/set)! I have never bought rod bolts before so I have no idea what they cost. Why do these cost so damn much? Isn't there bolts from another application that will work? I'm sorry but I have to back out as I literally do not have that kind of money right now. I apologize for any inconvenience I have caused anyone I just misunderstood.

I still need a set and I will need to buy them eventually but I can't swing it right now unfortunately.

They cost so much because they are a completely custom run, and this is the only way to get them. We could get the price down further but only if we ordered like 500 pieces or 60+ sets. But if you look at ARP rod bolt sets anywhere, they're pretty much all in the $120-$160 per set range. These are more simply because we're producing them on an as needed short-run basis. The less-than-10-set price is even more.

Sorry the OP wasn't clear on the pricing...I'll go back and edit it and make the per set price more apparent.

We'll get our 10 set pricing, so don't anybody else worry.

BUMP. I really need to get the payments in for these rod bolts so we can get the order started.

Also, I *really* need to get a few more participants in this buy. I can still make this happen, but it's going to painful if we don't get a little closer to ten sets...!!! Please pass the word...

Everything is here except for the rod bolts and the OS rod bearings. The rod bolts I expect to be done in early to mid Feb. The OS rod bearings may be a few weeks behind that. I'm happy to ship stuff separate if anybody needs the rest of their stuff and can't wait for the rod bolts or OS rod bearings...just shoot me a PM or email.
