Pah airboats

My boat is a hydroplane...
It draws 120Amps though so endurance is pretty poor and I can't drive for toffee.... It scares me...

theres the one section in there that reminded me of the saying in the R/C plane world... when the thing gets so far away that you can barely see it, we used to call it "flying the dot", as all you could see was a dot, didnt know if it was coming at you or away, until you turn, and see which way the dot moves...

The real ironic thing is the username "joePORSCHE09"... 36 videos and I've not seen a single Porsche. I did see a pickup truck in one of the vids tho. =)

Rich nice i see you have a turn fin on the front right to compensate.
Electrics are fast.. really fast.. I have a .40 and 2 .46 nitro motors.
To go fast takes alot of design unless you buy prebuilt for airboats though a.91 nitro motor would solve all those issues.

Theres a city square thats filled with water called the commens in the city i live in. Thery run electrics and sailboats all the time, though they dont allow nitros.. So i go to one of the rivers.

yea those 36 vids are my silly relaxing vids when i have to much time on my hands. porsche is jus sitting in the side of the house waiting, some time it calls out to me, saying com'on your missin all the fun of drivimg me. I jus laugh to myself and snicker outloud.

I'm not very welcome at the local boating lake - the locals like RC sailboats...

Curiously a 50mph+ electric hydroplane with a huge roostertail and a turning circle of an oil tanker isn't that popular....

Hey Joe, thats the L.A .46 engine right? I almost bought two of those 5 yrs ago to build a plane, DC-3 72" wing span. I'm kinda glad I didn't buy it. I have the traxxas nirto vee boat and two rustler trucks. the boat is on the slow side and takes a while to hydroplane. It's a .15, I have an os .25 sitting around, i should put that in it some time. I haven't use my boat in years
