Anyone had the problem with your analog clock stopping when it's cold outside?
I've had this problem since I bought the car (944) and have no idea why it does it.
Any suggestions?
TIA

Someone may have greased the clock and it is coagulating hard?? [that looks funny]

Remove clock and look around for excess grease or the wrong kind of grease.

Would I say something nasty to anyone?
You could buy a 24 hour hour glass but you would need a trailer to bring it with you.

Thanks Vince.

What's your procedure for getting it running again? Or does it just start by itself?

I've found the clock on my car to be the most reliable piece of equipment.

Forget the clock! I'm already working on a device to flip a giant hourglass...

Actually, it starts working once it's warm again *shrug*. I think Vince is right, it's just a grease issue. I'm gonna take it apart when I get the time.

Hardly worth trying to fix it - Dan had some kicking around a while back for next to nothing.
