My warning light keeps coming on, and I don't know why. I just had my pads changed last year and they are still really thick. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you checked the switch and wiring at the hand brake?
Is your master cylinder reservoir full?
How's the wiring look at the master cylinder?
Do you have a lot of travel on the brake pedal? _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

Hey Paul, thanks for replying.
I think it might help if I knew exactly what the light was suppose to indicate.
The set up I have has 3 lights, one for brake fluid (left) one for seatbelt (bottom) and one for what I think is brake pads (right). The one for brake fluid isn't coming on, and I've checked my fluids so I know that's fine. The handbrake has a separate light right above my "low fuel" light.
So I'm guessing that it is some sort of sensor issue?

In the 924NA and 931 (and assuming the 924S is the same), the center console brake light is also tied into the oil pressure warning. -So if oil pressure is low (or if there's an oil pressure sender problem (grounding)), both the oil and brake lights turn on. -But if your oil light is burnt out, obviously you'll only have the one brake light.. Check the oil pressure light with ignition switched on, but engine not started - all dash warning lights should light. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. I wonder if he is asking about his 944 on a 924 board without telling us..... _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

Oh, sorry. Yeah I'm talking about my 944 I didn't think it made much difference. I know I have a bad ground/connection somewhere, because sometimes my oil pressure light, brake fluid light, and brake pad light, all flash together and random times. I've never been able to trace that issue tho.
