Volkswagen will some EUR3.3 billion to take a 42% stake in Porsche AG, the 100%-owned unit of Porsche SE, by the end of 2009. Volkswagen will finance the acquisition of the Porsche stake with a cash capital increase of up to EUR3.3 billion in the first half of 2010, based on Porsche AG's estimated enterprise value of around EUR12.4 billion. Volkswagen will issue new preferred shares for the cash capital increase. Subsequently, Porsche SE will be merged with Volkswagen in the course of 2011.

Porsche, will be come VW in 2011
