I got all the straight stuff from Hose technics and elbows from Sunset Porsche, ended up way cheaper than that.

I have some of the red silicone I bought from a board member. And I used it on the 931 to replace some, but not all, of the OEM hose. Using the smallest vacuum hose, I didn't even have to use a clamp. I like it, and the red is easy to spot. Pretty spendy kit though!! _________________ '83 944 Track car.

If I were you I would just go and buy enough red (or any other color) silicone vac hose in the sizes required. Then to install it I would take off one at a time and cut the silicone hose to the same size as the one just taken off and put the silicone hose in the old ones place. Very straight forward this way and well worth it for peace of mind, should also work out SLS cheaper. (SLS=Shit LoadS)
On the kit: If the kit has all the hoses pre cut and they are the right size as well as cut to the right length, then it should be quite straight forward. However I think that the first way I mentioned may be even easier as you wont have to work out which hose is which from a whole stack of various sized pre cut hoses. _________________ 1977 924 2.0 Auto |
