Could anyone tell me the exact length and diameter of both fuel lines that run from the engine to the rear please?
I want to get some made up locally from hydraulic hose to replace the rusted through ones on mine. _________________ 1977 martini 924

I'll be interested in what you find out. I'm wondering if I should do the same thing on my Martini.

Hmmm. I have two complete sets removed from a couple of long-gone 931 ghost cars. Wonder if they're the same as an NA...will have to check PET.
AG, if they're the same, would you be interested in a set? The ones I have are in pretty darn good shape...but they would probably be a bit of a challenge to ship... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Mine are being redone at a body shop. Some kind hearted individual took a hack saw to it and spliced in the wrong type of rubber fuel lines. The left door pillar is being redone there, so it is part of the deal. The owner is addicted to Porsches and a wizard with metal! |

I might be interested. What is the best way of determining if a fuel line is shot? It's a '77 so maybe that's the answer. It has sat unused for about 20 years or so.

Well, ideally, you want to do two things: make sure it ain't blocked, and make sure it don't leak (to put it in the vernacular). The first is easy enough to do by blowing it out with an air compressor and appropriate connector. The second is a bit tougher, but I imagine you could rig up a CIS tester to check for leakdown, and possibly even flow rate. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
