My car randomly died pulling out of a bad parking lot.. It likes to die out to when coming off highways or after pushing her, have to feather the gas to keep her alive an pull over, kill it, sit for awhile then restart.. I'm noticing im not getting spark.. I checked all m electrical connections nothing seems loose or looks bad.. im even getting volts to the ignition coil(which i replaced Again just encase..) Car cranks and everything but even with a bat charger on it it just cranks really slow and wont ever crank over.. sounds like a dragging crank.. you know, the im out of battery crank kinda only.. without the out of "battery-ness" =p

Might be low voltage (battery and/or alternator and/or wiring to either or both problem). Check your voltage while running however you can. (I use a cig lighter plug with short leads and female spade connectors attached - then attach my multimeter probes to them, and just plug into the cig lighter.. )

Like i said the battery is brand new, and testing fine, and im 90% sure my alternator is working. I don't SEE any problems (corroding or anything) with the wires to and from..

what's your voltmeter read while driving? I had a bad alternator one time, and it read pretty low, especially with the lights on. You should probably have it tested. the testing is free and alternators are not that bad to get out.

My money is on the alt. then. You can always try to bump start her. If the dash lights aren't coming on, and she won't bump start, it's likely the alt.

positive battery cable is shorting out, probably in the area of the exhaust manifold...

replace cable with off the shelf long cable, bridge alt wires to appropriate posts on starter. if you get it wrong, it will not start...

i think it could be ignition related, next time you try to start, turn the ignition distributor slowly (!) to the right. If that makes it start, you had a too early timing.
