BH, for head bolts, I would recommend getting the ARP head studs, part number 251-4701, available from Summit Racing, Engine Builder Supply (EBS), and potentially many other suppliers. You might check to see if their is an ARP reseller in Iceland. From Summit, they cost ~$130. If you have trouble arranging shipping to Iceland, let me know, and I'll see if I can assist. If you want to read up on the ARP head studs, here's the authoritative thread.
For head gaskets, unfortunately, you just missed a group buy on Cometic multi-layer steel gaskets, which are best for boosted applications, perhaps not a real concern for your application. As for OEM replacement, I believe Victor Reinz is generally regarded as a quality item. EBS can source these for you, as can Pelican, Performance Products, and probably lots of other European aftermarket resellers that handle Porsche-VW-Audi parts. Again, if you need assistance with shipping, I'm willing to help if I can. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

thanks a lot. I plan on keeping my car standard so the multi layer on is a overkill is it not ? the shipping to Iceland hasnīt been a problem so far it just costs a lot of $$$. _________________ porsche 924 "85-----> rebuild |

Yes, the MLS is probably overkill for a stock normally aspirated motor. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
