I called PCNA for the dimensions of the engine, and it looks like it'll bolt right up to the torque tube! They said it was a direct fit, and they're selling a 924 n/a installation kit for $5 that includes motor mounts and an exhaust from front to back. They said the 924 n/a transmission would have no problem holding up to the 500+ horsepower of the Cayenne turbo V8, you just have to add a special transmission fluid their engineers designed that comes in the $5 installation kit. The engine will come with everything including the computer, and will be $20000 for most Porsche owners, but only $1150 for 924 owners, because Porsche respects us so much, on account of our totally awesome cars.

Next week I'm calling Lamborghini to see if they have a kit for the Murcielago 6.2l V12, and Ferrari to see if the new 6.0l V12 will fit, and of course the Carrera GT's 5.5l V10, which will probably also be a bolt-in swap!

924 turbo, i was just wondering here, but did they mention anything about the car tearing itself into about 10,000 parts the second you tried to touch the gas?
