just querying if any one can help in regards to my washer on my car are not working, ive tried the pump with direct power and the pump works but i noticed that when i put a multi meter test on the orignal connectors im only getting 1.3 volts to the pump instead of the 12v , when i pull stalk towards me the wipers dnt mve neither does the pump work but if i remove the terminals from the washer pump then the wipers come on but as son as i connect the pump back up neither work and i only get the 1.3 volts to it could it be a relay or something,
and as regards to the hot start problem i think ive asked about this but what is the major cause of the hot start prblem

My hot-start problems were soley related to a bad fuel accumulator. Plus, after fixing it, the AFR was off, a lot! _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Air/Fuel ratio. Adjustable, using the little 3mm hex screw on CIS distributor. Will screw and hex with your life! _________________ '83 944 Track car.

The hot start problem is the ages old vapor lock issue where the fuel boils in the fuel lines after the motor is shutdown.
To avoid this, Porsche runs the radiator fan after shutdown and the fuel injection system when working properly maintains pressure after shutdown. This pressure raises the boiling point of the fuel so it does not vaporize. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"
