The world is in Crisis with the recent stockmarket meltdown....so what does Porsche decide to do
'vee vill extend our share in zee volksvagon AG to more zan 70%'
Not bad for a company that around 10 years ago was about to go bust!
Porsche is a Powerhouse!!

It looks like Porsche was doing some stuff in the background as well - briefly VW was the largest company in the world based on a market cap. of $370 billion.
Hedge funds lost almost $30 billion due to Porsche's announcement - only 5% of VW stock is not owned by The State of Lower Saxony and the Porsche family.
A few people were pissed off, I suppose. _________________ Porsche 924 - 1978 Metallic copper over brown, changing to black. Custom black and brown leather seat covers.
Weissach-style wheels, 200 lb. coils, thicker roll bars, but bog stock engine. (It's on my list.) |

Porsche's buying stock, Warren Buffett is buying stock now all we need is for everyone else to follow their lead and get the stock markets moving in the right direction. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)
