PORSCHEV,
I like your car! It may not be my exact taste, but it is well executed and I can definitely appreciate that. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

we have done a few vertical doors on 911 and boxters in our shop
they dont look bad. full vertical works better on the 924/944/928 cars
better in and out. we made our own hinges. none of the kits fit
all were too wide for the firewall. we have a 944 drifter car wich is all riced out, looks kinda neat. just a diffrent style for a diffrent culture.
the days of the 1970 chevelle ss jacked up with header and a tunnel ram are over. |

Not to whore the thread... any pics of the '44 drift car? All my buddies are in that scene, I drift my 924 quite often I know there isn't really anyone campaigning one. Mine will be white w/black roof/hatch/hood on a set of black RM301's soon enough
EDIT: the '44 drift car in action |

I love the scissor doors! I've wanted to add them myself... once I'm in my garage, I don't have a lot of room to squeeze out. And I know because the doors swing open so "freely" I'm going to ding the heck out of them. Did you have them installed? Was it a kit or custom made? Any info would be appreciated.

probably busy... I remember him being away for a while, then coming back with questions and progress and a new exhaust... and now he's gone again..
so in a while he should be back with more updates
or something has happened but let's hope not. _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)

Hey buddies,
I am back, but soon for good. (Or until next summer )
Dont worry, I have not abandon the car, infact far from it.
All the sound system is in place and working great. Made a neat new boot for the car which looks pretty nice IMO.
The alarm bugs are all gone, the electrical side of the car is now finally sound. Just 1 or 2 small problems to be addressed later.
The interior is all back together, the back seats are finally functional (the rear split seats from the late 944)
All of the lights are wired up and working properly. The car starts on the first turn of the key (literally 1/2 after it is turned), even after not running for 2 weeks. Just need to debug one slight problem on cold running.
Power windows are all in and functional.
Both mirrors are on.
Just need to get 1 solenoid for the drivers door and that can go on and the interior is 100%
The pop up lights are gone.. vwoosh (sorry guys)
The new lights and the car goto the sprayer tomorrow to get the lights fitted and hopefully a decent re-spray.
The only thing really left is the 951 brakes/suspension and wheels. I am already hot on that issue again and should be placing the order for the bits next week when the guy gets back. I will post a list to make sure I have everything right.
So.. how ya all been? Miss my annoying useless questions I hope
Sorry for the sudden vanish. Work in summer is always a KILLER.

with such a car, you need to work, so you've got a good excuse
what lights did you place? GTS? pics?
I seriously think you've got the hottest toofah ever nothing fancy about the looks, just a bit wider... badass color, but nothing fancy again... porn suspension and of course the coolest doors _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)
