Time: 09:22:28I would like to ask some of you who live in the US and UK: Is it allowed to bodyconvert a 924 into 944 ? I live in Denmark (Europe) and, well it's not illegal to do the conversion here, but I will have to pay a lot of tax to the government if I did it. And the reason: simply because it changes its look. When you buy a new car in Denmark, you will have to pay about 180% tax of the price. And if you change the car into another model, you'll have to pay even more tax.(I'm not quite sure how much) E.g if you change the body so it looks like a more expensive model. Even when the car is 20 years old, this rule still counts. The total cost including tax can easily end up higher than the price of an early 944. So the only reason for doing it, are lower maintenance costs on the 924. Anyway, are there any laws that makes it difficult to do a 924 to 944 conversion ?
