Is that the one that was on trademe recently? |
yep. stepdad was shopping for parts for me and made the guy an offer. |
Great, it's good to see that he's finally got away from those awfull 911s and got a decent car at last
Have you driven it yet? Can we take it with us on the targa for spare parts?? _________________ Andrew

Hi Everyone,
We purchased this 81 last year and have been working on getting it running. It had been sitting for a few years and was a repo. It ran briefly last month until the head gasket blew. Head went to the machine shop and hopefully it will be running this week!

Hello guys and girls!
Sold my type2 944 and got this instead. Does not run at the time, but is a nice project. Hope to have it finished by spring 2009. Looking forward to drive it!
This is my old car. It was a joy, but the 931/937 was too tempting!

I got a nice crispy one today parked next to the softball field at nearby Quarry Park
(best to keep it in-bounds - it gets a bit swampy right next to the outfield there) -
-and while parked there, found this little fella sitting in a tree around the corner -

[After a little research - that's apparently a way off course Ferruginous Hawk.
Their normal range is no further east than the mountain time zone, but today this one sat in a tree in New Jersey.] _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

It's actually a 944, so the body style is standard but thanks for the complement

It badly needs a paint job, along with some other things, but at least it moves now.. _________________ [This Space For Rent] |
