My 924 was modified with a 944 Turbo look. Additional spacers were added to accomodate the wider wheel arches.

Someone has warned that the additional spacers would add additional stress to the bearings (inner and outer), and might cause premature wear.

Need advise on :
1. Is the warning valid ?
2. If answer to 1 is yes, what can I do to reduce the stress ?
3. Any other possible problem areas that I should note ?
