Should the 924 be towed from the front or back ?

I know that the towing hook is in front, but have also been told that a rear wheel drive car should be towed from the back and vice versa, so as not to rotate the drive shaft.

So what's the truth ??

Thanks.

If you tow it from the back you just have to be careful of dips since the nose will nearly be scrapping the ground, of course the steering will need to be locked. If you tow it from the front, you have to watch out that you don't hit anything important with the tow dolly, and it might be good to remove the cv axles on a long tow, the concern is that the bearings in the trans will not recieve lubrication and will eventually heat up and gall. This can happen on some cars, whether a 924 has trouble I don't know.
