That car has been for sale for a coon's age. 6 months or so ago it was on Bay Area craigslist for much less than $10k. I asked a couple of questions about it, and the owner was quite grumpy.

I have also heard through the grapevine that is has a lot of cracked fiberglass.

BUT, I do think it's cool!

If you check in the PCA's Books "UP Fixin Der Porsche" you'll find an article about the building of this car.

Not sure which issue its in but Automotion did build a 924 that looks like the one you found back in the 80's
