And that's why I really don't want to have to get behind my dash and figure out which wires have gone bad.... *shiver*
Still, you did a nice job organizing the cables! _________________ 1988 924S Navy Blue - Phone Dials |

started at 7:30pm and finished at 7:55am. lol I made sure to solder every wire! A PITA, I hate soldering. There are still some gremlins, but at least my gauges work. Well except for the speedo, which doesn't work due to a broken speedo cable. |

Hey 00Smurf,
Could you take a picture behind the fusebox? I'd need to know the arrangement of the wires, which colour, which connection number etc... _________________ 931 '79

A picture gives you spaghetti -
Wire colors, and which pin and connector each goes to is shown in the wiring diagrams. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Well, then my wiring diagram isn't complete....still wondering about those thin abiko-connector cables. The thick ones are attached, waiting for the smoke to appear. _________________ 931 '79

Need a translation on that - would they be the single-wire 1/4" spade connectors (the "G" and "H" posts)? _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

I think they would be - they are called "abiko connectors" at this side of pond. _________________ 931 '79
