Hmmm.. wonder if the Rabbit GTI fenders could be used to create a D-production look?

Made a quick mockup in PhotoShop:

Could this look better than the more "square edged" D-prod fiberglass kit?

I've seen many different shaped D-prod fenders, so I don't think it would be too far off what some teams used, and at least the sheet metal is cheaply available and within "the family"

Opinions?

With the flares it looks like a CELICA. I personally don't care for the D production kit either. The car becomes a reverse sleeper - the suggestion of a really fast car that isn't as fast as it looks.

I'd keep it stock.

I'm a d-production fan too - I think it looks pretty good - might be worth a try - are the flares fiberglas or metal?

Personally, I think you need the front valence to pull off the complete look - otherwise it looks to "aftermarkety"
