Is what I am hearing that I can put 8.5" or 9" on the rear of my car with the correct offset?

How about 17" x 8.5" 1997 Boxster rims?

Will 18x8 and 18x10 turbo twists fit on a 931, stock body-wise?

You have to roll the fenders to fit and they fit best with early 944 steel trailing arms+stock alloy spacer. If one uses them on 924S (alloy rear arms) it will need more rolling as those have a bit wider track.

But now I'm running Turbo Twists for some time again (8.5x18):

Once I get my CGT body kit on I'm going to get me some of these I think. Simmons will customise the PCD and offset to suit the car, and they aren't too crazy on the pricing...

Simmons B45
Sizes - 16"
Width options - 6" - 12" available
Fitment Options - 4 and 5 stud fitments

Around $600/each for 16x7. As they are custom made the exact price will depend on your exact requirements.

Not cheap, but cheaper than Fuchs from what I've seen - and if you're staying 4x108 you don't have a lot of choice as we know...

When i start looking into the body and exterior (as opposed to swearing under the hood) i'm looking into either some Konig B-Bombs or maybe some Minilites. We don't have a lot of options but there are some for earlier Jap cars which are pretty schmick.
