Well I was debating picking up a 931 sitting in a field. but the guy wouldn't come off his $800 asking price. He said it had a knocking when he parked it. But from what I gather it wouldn't even start now. Did have a 5 speed and 5 lugs on it though.
Anyway, wife came across this beauty, and yes I know it's not a porsche. But for a mere $2500 I just couldn't pass it up.

Very nice. How's about some engine pickies?
How do you get the rear end to levitate like that |

I'll get some more pics up soon. that's the only one I have right now.
It is an 84, brand new flowmaster exhuast with high flow cats. Sounds mean as all get out. Sadly it is an automatic. The wife refuses to drive a stick, and well the porsche is my standard shift.
The rearend levitates nicely with jackstands. lol Needed some new rear end bushings and a window motor for the passenger side. If you look close you can see the door panel leaning against the fence behind the car. _________________ '77 Yellow 924 |

Seems like a lot of car for $2500.
I guess you never have to deal with body panel rust! _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

| That's a heckuva car for $2500. You should clean up the nitties, slap a number on the side and take it out to the track for a good flogging. In fact, that's a great candidate for the GRM $2008 challenge. |

Doesn't it have to be under $2008 to qualify? _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

It has to have a net cost of $2008, so he would just need to sell enough bits of it to get it under that amount.
Which motor does it have? _________________ Toofah King Bad

Forgot about that! Should be doable, sell the entire interior then install a milk crate for a seat and you're good to go! _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

It has the old crossfire injection 350. Believe it nets just over 200 horse. Not raceable the way it sits. Besides the wife keeps telling me it is "our" car. So unless a divorce is in my future ripping out the interior and racing it is probably out of the question. lol _________________ '77 Yellow 924 |

At least it's not the '81, I've heard those are only 150 ponies _________________ Ryan Moone
