Does anyone have any ideas on what seems to me like a fuel injection problem. I have an 88 924S with around 100K on it. The car drives fine when it's in gear but sometimes, when its in neutral the engine revs by itself at regular (about 4 sec) intervals. Being new at all this wonderful porsche (and I really mean wonderful) stuff - I need help! What should I look at?

I'm not sure, as this is venturing into 944 territory, but I'm wondering if maybe the contacts on the TPS or airbox sensor might be crudded up? I seem to recall hearing about something like this on the 924/944 rennlist at times...

I think it sounds like you have a cracked or broken or off air line
somewhere . Brad
