upload the picture to photobucket then below the image you will see a selection of 4 different types of link (URL), just copy the one marked "IMG Code" and that will include the IMG tags, just paste the links as copied into a post or reply box here and you don't need do anything else. _________________ Mars Red '78 Euro 924 n/a

ok, here is some of mine.
A before picture, they way I bought it for a whopping $800 off ebay, was all of 7 miles from my house.
you can barely see along the top where the rain gutters attach, the rust was unreal. And what you can't see, the passenger fender was caved in and touching the tire. if you look at the pics closely (especially the next to last one), I cleaned and filled the seam for the rain gutter and the seams on the rear under the hatch lid. All nice a smooth now.
All primered up and ready for paint
Just after the last coat went on.
And after some of the parts are back on. Still not buffed as the paint was just put on a few days ago.
And one of the interior. Just starting work on it.
Have to excuse the quality, they were taken with my phone. The color was supposed to be original 77 porsche yellow. It may have been, but don't think it was for a 924. This is called Talbot Yellow and pretty sure it should've been rally Yellow. Ah well, still like it. _________________ '77 Yellow 924 |

Hey, there is the man !!
Thruxton 900 !! You are riding the tires that i like to have fro my red 924.
I like that white or red stripe design.Makes the wheel(tire) look bigger.
What brand and size is it?
Thanks nobbi _________________ NA 924 - april/1977- 4-speed-audi gearbox.

Nobbi,
I bought the car not long ago with those tyres fitted.
Size are 185/65/14, Federal brand.
They are very old, cracked and unsafe, maybe over 10 years old... . I will be replacing them this week with some nice Bridgestone Turanza ER592 195/65/14's
cheers

I tried to convince wife we need a 944 and 928 to fill out the water cooled stable but she didn't agree (yet ) _________________ Rick

What you really need at a minimum is a 951 or 931. Gotta love the boost!
If she has any affinity for nice cars at all, a ride in a 928 should lower her resistance Worked for me _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
