|
|
I was just wondering what the resistance between what I believe to be the air temp sensor (after TB, on bottom of TB housing) and the two wires (#12) on the DITC box is. Or if I'm even measuring the right thing. One wire on the sensor plug to the DITC gives me .1 ohms, but the other one on both gives like 14k ohms.
Am I measuring the right thing? I just wanna make sure I don't have a really effing high resistance. _________________ 1981 924 Turbo (931) |

Yeah, no I don't think the intake air temp sensor wiring should have much resistance - should be close to zero.
Here's the sensors' location for verification -
-and the wiring -

That's a brown/red wire from sensor to DITC-12 and a brown/black from sensor to DITC-9. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

okay, i must be measuring the wrong thing. I thought both wires went in to the 2-wire connection.
and yeah, that was the temp sensor.
okay, makes a bit more sense now. thanks
EDIT: Holy Crap, everything makes sense now! The Haynes diagrams, and apparently the Alldata diagrams are CRAP and don't apply to the 81/82 turbo. _________________ 1981 924 Turbo (931) |
