Hi, I’m planning to change injector system for Weber 40 dcoe and I’m trying to figure how to hook-ups the vacuum lines for the brake system and the timing advance.

Anybody who done it, please help me out, tell me how you’ve done it.
Pictures would be appreciate
Any other thing I should know? Other problem you have to deal with?

Thanks

The brake booster vacuum line attaches to the Weber manifold, you can see the inside of the hole in the right most runner in the picture below.

The Weber DCOE carbs have no vacuum port to run distributor advance. You can drill a small hole in a carb exactly inline with a buttefly in order to tap the appropriate vacuum, however you risk damaging the carb. Best thing to do is take your distributor to a shop to have it re-curved for mechanical advance only.

Could I put the advance on the manifold, just like the other vacuum?
The air flow, that created the vacuum, should be the same at the butterfly, just before or after, isn’t it?????
