Yeah, those meatballs are nice. I used meatballs for numbers on my racecar the first time around, and it had a rather classic look - I think it works well in particular for cars without stripes (though we did also have stripes on mine).
Then when we repainted my car, we went for that old DP paint scheme, and ditched the meatballs. _________________ Vaughan Scott

I have some bodywork from GT Racing; was very impressed with the customer service, though he can be a little tough to get ahold of around club race weekends! Haven't fitted the stuff yet, so can't really comment on that, but it seems like nice stuff. _________________ Vaughan Scott

Here is the one Vaughan was talking about. New paint over winter
No Red 5 is not for Speed Racer but you British Formula 1 fans show recognise the number.

This site: www.race-cars.com has a buttload of photos of 924/944 race cars (as well as plenty of other p-cars and other marques). Too many to post here, but I pirated a bunch of photos for my own reference. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Dan those are fantastic.
Thanks.
I may be in touch for some Hi res copies.
On a sad note I did not finish either race.
Saturday THe famous failuer of the screw came out of the ignition rotor. and trashed the distibutor cap and roto.
Luckily I had some spares and fixed for Sunday Unfortunately I guess I did not fixx well enough because Sunday had exactly same failure.
Guess next time I will weld the screw in _________________ "Growing Old is Mandatory"
