Just a general interest type question...

I'm considering converting my v-belts over to a serpentine belt setup. Obviously this will require custom pulleys...

Included in this, I am also going to set up the crank pulley for EFI.

Since i'm designing this stuff, if I go through with this, would anyone else possibly want to get in on a group buy. Split the tooling costs for a limited run?

Just curious...

If it works with my already custom 36-1 trigger wheel

Just a thought, you might take a look at modifying an Escort 1.9L crank pulley. This would give you a 6 rib pulley, crank dampener and built in 36-1 crank trigger. This is what I have but it is bolted to the front of my single groove pulley running my alternator. The ribbed belt runs my blower. I think you can buy the pulley brand new for ~$40.

Todd, I would love to see your car. I don't suppose you can make it to the Historics this year?

Man, I'd love to go and see some of you guys but there is little chance of it happening. I can't even seem to find time to get my car back inside to put the interior back together. Money and time, a shortage of both

The belt setup on my car is the only thing that works.

Why a serpentine belt?
