The front fenders are bolted on and are very flimsy once removed.

Remove the obvious bolts under the hood, then the one by the headlight, and 2 bolts to the front spoiler. Disconnect the side marker wiring. Remove 3 bolts inside the wheel well behind the charcoal canister on a US car. (bolts the back of the fender to the door jam.)

I got all the bolts out but gave up as my wing was glued on with something like no-nails. Don't you just love POBs....

12 pics starting here of approximately what you should find with the fenders removed -

The 3 inside bolts holding the rear vertical surface of the fender to the door jamb area will probably be well-covered with undercoating (somewhat tough to find, then require scraping off to get a wrench on them).
-And as I recall, I think I pulled out the rubber piece at the front-bottom of the headlight to get at that single front bolt.

Yes - you also have to go in with a couple of putty knives to seperate the top edge of the fender after those bolts are removed.

Smoothie's pictures reminded my failing memory that there is also a bolt on the very bottom rear of the fender.
