I'm 45 mins West of Asheville and would be willing to drive 3 hours or so. But not to just sit around and shoot the breeze.

What if we did some kind of poker run or scavenger hunt and start in one city and end in another? We could meet at a wal mart and end at a resturaunt or place with a grill. Would depend on the amount of people of course. How far is ashville from raliegh? We could start somewhere west of raliegh and end somewhere close around raliegh.

I live near vir in caswell county nc zip 24541 and am still a member of vir club , we could have a meeting at vir if you like ,if it is on a club day those who wished could drive on track , behind pace car , this sometimes gets very rapid , the cost for 4 sessions is 150 bucks , and for only one half hour sesion it is 50 , in summer a pool is available , also lodging is there , I would be glad to talk to club about what they could offer . you could also have it at a pca de weekend or a race weekend , would be really interesting to see 944 cup race there will be 6 races at vir this coming year , 3 different weekends , I know several 924 cars run , let me know if this has any interest, Jesse

The track has a club membership[ see the net. vir club .com or net whatever, member are allowed to get in free to all races, of course they pay dues , and can drive on track on certian club only days about 17 a year, they pay a set fee for membership and 150 a day to drive , the driving is like de with passing on pint by high speed drivers aare licenesed and drive fst cars , their are 4 run groups. 924 usually runs in next to fastest group if driver is experienced, or if car is full race car with hot driver runs in fast group , anyway members can use club and have groups in for dinner parties etc. I joined when I was learning to race my 924s , still belong for a while at least, so would be glad to help get group there if any one wants to , other wise would go to more central poiint for meet think swap meet would be good also , btw vir is rally big on helping groups have special days at track to just let tourist see different cars so I think they would be glad to have a 924 group be there on any other day , they have a lot of activities , only problem it is about 1 hour or so from Raleigh or little futher from greensboro . llok on map for milton nc it is right nest door about 1 mile from milton just over line in va part of track is in nc
