Don't forget the racing stripes Alan!
Personally I love our cars in white! _________________ Whoever said you can't buy happiness forgot about Porsche!

I would love white, and vinyl graphics, numbers stripes etc. would be easy to put and see, but I'm living in eastern europe, where good, sunny days are rare, and the car would be always dirty...
there is my "normal" p924 that is intended to be as original as it can
and for turbo project I want something like that maybe
or this

I reckon white/light coloured cars always look clean - it's the dark colours that always look dirty...
Nice wheels...

If I were repainting my 924, I think I'd go with the new Cayman Design Series type theme.
You can get a good idea from all that if you like that look. _________________ 924.org (no time to complete)

the color statistically most pulled over is white, not red. red, yellow, and white are the top colors pulled over cause they are the sportiest. silver gets into the least ammount of accidents.
I learned this at a very crook traffic school where they teach you how to get away with it and make you only stay 4 instead of the legal 8 hours. They also make you promise not to narc.
I remember cause i've gone there twice. _________________ 1987 Porsche 924S Black/Black. 5-spd.

dark colors are always the safest as far as avoiding tickets, the 924 is especially talented in ticket evasion when dressed darkly. low profile, hard to see, hard to lock a radar/lidar/laser/ect gun onto (no big headlights to aim for in the day, hard to "find" at night with the gun) .... when i repaint, i will stick with my lm9y "metallic black" which is more a charcoal color mixed with gumetal..sorta.. anyway, good low profile color that looks great. i do like those design stripes on the cayman though.. _________________ Eric

Stick with your dark, black/charcoal colour looks mean..just look into prettying it up with graphics...The cayman three stripes look hot, perhaps copy them somehow! also black and red i think are the best colours for a 924, looks wise, then perhaps white.
p.s Nice rims!..are they 17 inch and what size spacers are you running?? _________________ 1979 NA
