Man it's been along time since I've been here. Well I got my license back in MAy, I drive MY 1995 Ford F150 Eddie Bauer Extended Cab, and I just tought my self in the last couple of days how to drive standard My porsche hasn't had anything done to it. I am thinking about putting in a FI 4 bannger from a ranger, or if I can find some 4 cylinder that is turbo charged, I'll transplant it in there, so I have a good reliable engine, not going to transplant a 8 cause my truck really sucks the gas. Man I just wanted to stop by and say HI to all you cool cats. _________________ What i own:

why not just rebuild the 924 engine? You could probably have a reliable engine for a little over a grand.

Or convert it to EFI..thats the only unreliable part of the 924 and even that isn't that bad if you stay on top of it. I have grown to like the little audi alot in the last few months! _________________ 1976 924

Yeah, the old Ranger 4-cyl isn't exactly an upgrade... _________________ Vaughan Scott

I would agree that the 4 cyl ranger isnt an upgrade either. They seem to be slow revving. I dont tihnk they would be very desirable for a sportscar platform _________________ 1978 924 NA

Well the older one's, really revv-up, plus I might try and find a mustang turbcharged 4, or a supercharged V6 from a super coupe thunderbird. _________________ What i own:

I beat them regularly - all the time, actually - on the racetrack. _________________ Vaughan Scott
