Im considering putting the lic. plate lower than the rear bumper, as I have shaved the rubber pads off
Im thinking about using a rear diffuser and mounting it to that
anyone have a spare?

Speaking of the rear side marker reflecters, I've always thought of them as elegant. Maybe it's just me, but I think it's a "sports" look kinda like that little sissy horn you hear on a lot of other sports cars (you know the one that sounds like it should be on a "Power Wheels" or something). I mean how many other cars have cool side markers like that? I think it's a genius design, not a cheap fix but a well thought up one.

I agree Druman!
I think the 924 is more of a classier, subdued design... If you want a more sport like look, get a 944! Hell, I DID!
oh yeah, I got some other pics to post for you guys. Ill have them up later tonight

actually not too hard at all!
the interior is still in really nice shape with the original headliner perfectly intact.

While I prefer a more plain reflector, I think it is how the car should have been designed in the first place. It gives the rear of the car a more finished look and puts the license plate where (I think) it belongs.

I like a plain look to the back of the car too. I just hate when they put a 924 in the upper right corner, a porsche on the center panel and then a porsche decal right below that. THAT'S why I only went with the 924S center light. No decals whatsoever to keep the look clean.

924S is looking good, hope to see some buffed pics soon.

That 911T is going to be one fun project. Anything pre 73 is where it's at in the aircoolers. It's in good shape for the year too. You can throw that semi OT progress thread up here anytime.

Sorry for the late reply, the board never sent me an e-mail that anyone had replied to this post. *shrugs*. But to answer your question, yeah I'm serious, I love the look.

924SSilver, man I love the 911, when ya gonna fix it up? Can I have it when you're done? , just kidding, (unless you really would give it to me )

OT update (as requested):

Sold the 356 in earlier photo to finance the 911...
Race prepped 924T (pics to come)
Rolled 911T into shop yesterday...

also replaced valve guides on '86 911SC for a client
I will NEVER do that again...PITA!!!!!
Why are most 911 owners complete primadonnas???!?!?
