Thanks again Lizard - I did know about disconnecting the CV's however I did not know about the tool requirement. I'll be sure to get my grubby hands on one of those before I begin.

What Luck - I went to look online at the triple square Lizard mentioned and it looked familiar - then I remembered having done new CV joints on my early 85 944 I used to have. I looked in the toolbox and there it was! So I am in good - thanks again!

yeah, lizard the men......
ok. i was reading the story top down and was nearly at the point to start my own song (of sadness and painfull hours under it.....) but then lizards magic spoken simplified text scrolled down and i said to my self.. f..rights!
