Just curious, what would you do if you had the time and cash? Replace a lot of rubber?

My poor 82 is still sitting... My major plan is to get it running again.
I've gotten the little stuff (starter and fuel-pump relay) but now it's not turning... I'm going ro pull the battery again as my charger broke and I think it damaged it. If that's good I'll get a direct line to the sylinoid and try that. I may end up taking it in to a shop as I just don't have the time to trace all the electrical... I'll then re-do the interior and get the body work done. Summer will be a good time for me.

yep - that is the first order of business with that car is replace all the rubber and drain/refill all the fluids (including the gas). No one, including myself, has tried to start the car in 20 years - but its been kept in a dry garage the whole time - its a beautiful car.

On my 931:
*Finally get it going, the delay is been due to lot of work and university sudies at the same time + VEMS installs on other cars (yeah, not nice )
Have to get the FMIC welded together and finish the 3" SS exaust. That should be all. And of course, tune the VEMS on it.

*On my wifes 83' NA.
-VEMS install (done)
-Full '86 951 rear axle conversion w/ yellow Konis and alloy arms. It has Konis but new suspension is going in together with the rest of the stuff.
-924 "GTP" conversion. Includes 2.5 16v Turbo engine (S2 head + 951 lower end with double cam sprocket conversion). I have the 951 engine and S2 head is in the shop right now (full-radius valve-job w/ new valves, porting etc). Also 924 crossmember (that is modified to accept 944 engine),951 TT and gearbox which I already have.
In the end of January I receive black leather seats from 94' 968.

And finally I have to finish the engine rebuild of my friends 924 "GULF" racecar. For that I need to receive some items from NEMESIS first.

944 front fenders

make parts out of the molds I am buying, spoiler mold, rear flare molds, sill molds, bonnet scoop mold & bumper molds (924 CGT)

May even add some cubic printing or sometimes called water transfer printing, or aquagraphic processing ! maybe a totally wooden or marble 924

A little more fanatical weight savings... A little more bodywork.

Brake R&R, throw a rebuilt set of 5 bolt calipers on, have my rotors turned, rebuild one of my master cylinders, set of those EBC ceramic pads...

New tires, AVS ES100 225/50/15 on the spiderwebs.

Finish making my strut tower bar and fuel rail (never enough hours in the day)

Finish my EFI conversion(still waiting on the ignition stuff)

Throw in the new strut mounts, balljoints, tie rod ends etc I`ve had sitting around for months... Replace the front end bushings with polyurethane bushings from a Rabbit kit.

Once that´s all up to spec I´ll likely think about ordering a 3.0 16v and 6 speed from 20th St.

on my 81 928 with 86 engine,

Convert to MSII V3 w/ EDIS,
custom install ITBS, and two turbos, with air air intercoolers.
Possibly convert to HID headlights.

2007 started...and i did this until now:

- add oil as some got consumed
- add water as some got evaporated or leaked trough the pump.
- install rear seats back into the car + carpets + trunk noise izolation
- set the clutch pedal to engage a bit higer as it was a PITA to drive
- replace headlight motor...the lights poped up but did not get down(arnold )

planing to buy and install 17" weels and new fuel pump soon.
also planing(for some time now) to install a 924T intercooled engine&tranny.
In the end i wish to repaint the nose section of my car as i've trashed it and i had it remade.

- Wheel bearings
- Bushings
- Shocks/spring (Lower it slightly)
- New CV joints
- 16" wheels/tires
- Make it water proof (new seals)
- Restore the gasoline heater

Make it a good daily driver for next winter, so I don't have to freeze my ass off because the only reliable daily driver at the moment is the Fiat cabriolet
