Hello all,
Just curious to see what some of my fellow 924 owners have planned for their cars this year. I am painting, replaceing the windshield and getting it inspected. I hope to be driving it along the shores of lake Erie in the spring!!! |

My 82 931 is due for a rebuild, that'll be one of the first things when it warms up.
The racecar will probably get a new LF fender, and some paint touchups, maybe improvements/fancier paint. The engine and all running gear will be unchanged, however, just getting some setup changes (alignment, etc). Might eventually put it on a dyno. Might also get around to some rewiring as well. _________________ Vaughan Scott

I'll definitely finish the bodywork, put airbrush flames on it, and get a new beige interior. Might get a 5 bolt conversion and some BBS style wheels, but that depends if I don't spend the money on some wheels for the Bimmer. |

Happy New Year to all,
Plan to overhaul the suspension, bushes, shocks etc before spring comes.
It is in great condition, doesn't really need anything else. _________________ 1981 931 S2

JB, I got some beige seats if you are interested. As usual, the fronts are a dog's breakfast and the rear are nice. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

| Chrenan, are the seats all leather, or leather with cloth in the middle? My interior right now is beige already, but it's got the cloth inserts which I don't like. |

No cloth, all vinyl. Leather was extremely rare on the 924 from what I understand. The fronts would need to be recovered, but the backs are fine. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

Forgot I also have a greddy turbo timer and lc-1 wideband that will be installed this spring.
I'll also be going ~25% tint on the windows.. _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

Upgrade the cooling system
Staged injection
14-15lbs boost
Hybrid GT light conversion
New seats and interior upgrade
New struts and shocks and maybe springs
2008 is teardown and repaint
These are my "resolutions" wich I rarely stick to

finish CGT body kit, re-paint it, and overhall engine. i think that will be enough for this year, though if i get it all done early, i might start playing with the interior, ive always wanted to built my own custom dash and console. _________________ Eric

new tires and bilsteins all around and my older 79 will just need a little interior cosmetic attention and she's ready to play.
I don't have the time nor the cash to touch my 8k mile 79 - its sitting in a nice warm garage like it has for the last 20+ years.
