Hi

I have one of the 75 right hand drive 1981 carerra gt.

I would like to know the original list price.

Anyone know? Or anyone know where to look?

PS It's the UK list i'm after as it will have been well above the rest of the world. Rip-off Britain !!

I have the original delivery slip for my 87 924S. It has a few options and was just under $25,000 delivered on x-mas eve 86.

i took a look in my english 924 and 944 book written by michael cotton.
Prices are for the UK:
Carrera GT, (406 Made- 75 for UK,200 for Germany.)
GT 19210 incl.Tax and Vat / English Pounds
GTS 110000 German Mark,which is 55.000.-Euros
GTR 180000 German Marks, about 90.000.- Euros
924 S 14985 Pounds (1985)
924 Turbo UK launch price 13629.- Pounds (Sept / 1979)

I paid 1989 for my NA924 about 7000.-Deutsche Mark, for a 13 Year old car !!

The very good book "924" by Brian Long also states that the 1981 RHD road GT was offered for £ 19210 in uk.

The basic UK list price was, as already mentioned, £19,210.75. inc. VAT & Car Tax.

Options as fitted to most of the 75 UK cars cost an extra £525.75 to upgrade from 15 x 7 Fuchs to 16 x 7/8 Fuchs, and £338.87 for the sunroof. This took the typical purchase price to over £20k.
