It's a long list, here's some of them (some are options):

Better heater system
Better A/C system
Power steering
4 wheel vented disk brakes
3 rd brake light
Power sunroof
Power hatch release
Flush windshield
Removable front panel (between the headlights)
Factory cruise
Shift light
Fuel economy gauge
Light weight jack

Are there option codes in the VIN for those paul? Some of those sound desireable...

Not in the VIN, but on the option sticker which is usually found between the tail lights and on the driver's side of the spare tire.

ok for some reason my post was placed in a different thread

but anyways, my 924S doesn't have the fuel economy gauge. I've only seen them on the 85.5+ 944 cars.

It's a little up arrow inside the tachometer that lights up when the car thinks you should shift. It's dependent on throttle and rpm, so 20% throttle at 4k rpm will light it up, but 80% throttle at 4k rpm won't.

It's an option... seen one in an early 944 at a boneyard but would like one for my 924S.
