I agree.
Once shaved, they need to be filled.

I just checked Automotion and they sell the door handles for $184.95 and $194.95. -So won't the car be worth $379.90 less without handles? Remove the mirrors too and it'll be worth a negative amount, then if you sell it, you'll have to pay them.
Yeah getting in might be a problem without power. Better mount an extra steering wheel on the roof.

bwhwhhahahahahahhahahahh !!!! i had a good laugh on this...hahaha !

i think the 924 looks silly without door handles.

That's not english, that's JoeSpeak. Takes a few years to get used to it but it'll grow on you after awhile.

Dictionarys and translation manuals available on CD or paperback edition at Borders.

Can't ever go to a track if you shave the handles.

Can you elaborate?

FWIW I've shaved the handles on my project car, along with the side markers, mirrors, and the fuel filler hole.

If you decide to do it, do it right, and fill in that big divot under the door handle too. If you leave that it's like leaving bodily fluids at the scene of a crime.

You won't pass tech with shaved handles. If you get in a wreck, safety crew won't be able to easily get in the car and therefore they can't let you race.

Dimples should be filled hm mm maybe if it was a newer model Id fill
though it being a 79 I like the unfilled look for some reason. Each
to his own. Wont pass tech nooo so there would have to be a
pullable T handle installed close by.

I got it!!! For racing you just modify an air-bag sensor to pop your doors!
LOL
It could work....

I'm not even thinking about racing at this point... Still in the "get back on the road" stage.

I got my new Fuel pump relay, so I'm hoping to get it running on it's own this Sat. I'll bring my camera. There is some "damage" from the PO, but nothing to bad. I'll show you all what I'm working with.

At some point I'm hoping to get my dads 1963 365B (first car I ever drove... I was 5 and on pops lap!) It would make another GREAT car. It also needs work due to weather and no garage.

Right inside the front of the rear wheel arch, clearly labeled just like your battery cut off, at least that's the plan.
