i have a 79 924 and i was wondering if there was a overhaul kit or some kind of engine rebuild kit...may be a dumb question but i don't know much about the car...thanks

Welcome, Ramon.
Where're from, mate?
What sort of overhaul are you thinking of doing? If it's a top-end decoke all you need is a head gasket kit (plus maybe some tappet adjuster wedges), if you're going for the full bottom-end gig, thenm it's a full engine gasket set plus main and big-end bearing shells and, maybe, piston rings.

thanks i'm from the rainy city of Seattle
well the motor has been pulled out of the car already so i just wanted to make things fresh once i drop the motor back in...other than that i'll be needing everyones help piecing interior parts back since i pretty much have nothing cuz this car was given to me from my god father and he didn't take care of it...i will post pictures later...thanks everyone

Yeah, EBS is the way to go. I couldnt find the complete rebuild kit on their website, so I sent them an email, and they have a complete rebuild kit for about $350
