IT was sitting in some guys back yard for three years, with weeds growing around it and filled with yellow jackets. I decided to put a note on it and three weeks later she was mine for $400. I just got it running and will start to refurbish the body in a few weeks.

That is so funny. I thought I was reading a post about my new find.

I got a 1980 924 that was sitting for about 1.5-2 years with a broken rear hatch. It was filled with leaves and water and ... yes Yellow jackets! Of course I was stung twice while looking at it. The PO took $50 off the price of the car for that... unfortunately I ended up in the emergency room days later and spend the $50 savings on that and drugs to control the swelling! DOU!

Anyway this car is hot! It has lower body cladding, nice red paint, 911 turbo heated power seats and Sony CD player. After I fix it all up I plan to post it here. Not that to many people every buy cars here... but she will be so nice I figured some one here might just want her.

She will have new tires, brakes, new fans, new fan switch, replacement fuel pump and the like. Oh and shampo for the carpets! UG how anyone lets their car sit open like that is excaping me.

I dont think I will move to the dark side. I do envy that part about being able to get in, start it up and go for a drive. That will happen soon enough for me, I hope
