| I am looking at towing my 931 from upstate New York to Mississippi. Hopefully I'll have a trailer, if not, is there any special requirements if I were to use a tow dolly? Do I need to disconnect the transaxles? |

I tow mine with a dolly all the time, and don't have any problems. Make sure you leave the key in it if you have a steering lock though. If it's a manual, leave it in nuetral and it'll be fine. _________________ Andrew

I just take the front bumper off and hook up my tow bar to the bumper shocks. Works nicely for me but you're going quite a distance.

I wouldn't recommend a tow dolly. I towed my 931 for ~30 miles when I picked it up. The dolly rubbed under the sills while on the highway. Not really any damage, but I wouldn't ever tow one like that again. Trailer is the only way to go. _________________ 1980 931S
